Construction equipment operators

Construction equipment operators drive and operate construction machines, such as crawler excavators, tire-mounted excavators, steamrollers, caterpillars, and graders. They transport structural elements, treat and process building materials and auxiliary building materials, or carry out excavation work. They carry out the maintenance and care of the construction equipment, as well as minor repairs and modifications of the equipment, themselves, for example by interchanging mobile auxiliary equipment. Construction equipment operators find employment above all with civil engineering and building construction companies. There they work on construction sites at different locations, as well as in stationary cement mixing plants or in the shop.
